Transparency is one of our key business principles! We are extremely proud of the product we sell and we want to keep you informed! We are asked many great questions & the most popular questions are below:

Why a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture Box)?

For 2024 we will start our season June 21 - October 4, 2024. The last date you can order for the full season is June 19, 2024. The last date you can order for late half season is August 12, 2024. We will send out an update in our newsletter or a note in your box pertaining to any surprises.

For 2024 2/3 will be fruit and berries, 1/3 will be veggies. More than 75% of participants filled out our year end survey in 2023, and the overwhelming response was they you loved everything! The only request is to have a Bi-Weekly offering. We will only be adding the most popular veggies in - mini-carrot, sweet nugget potatoes, mini cukes, peaches and cream corn, etc.  One Apple chip, Juice and Sparkling Juice max per season.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Essentially, farmers need eaters and eaters need farmers. CSA is a way for eaters to co-produce and provide support for the farmer early in the season when the money is needed for growing supports. This is also a way for eaters to become educated in eating locally and seasonally. A win-win for everyone.

We will offer 8 different options:

We will offer pick up locations throughout Edmonton on Fridays 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Please look at locations here.

Growing up on our Family Orchard in Oliver B.C., we have enjoyed all aspects involved in farming, manufacturing, shipping and selling. Because we understand what is involved from farm to table, we have become well known for our top quality and service.

We believe in supporting Canadian farming and local Business. We do not sell or carry any fruit, vegetables or product from the United States.

Are you organic?

We are a conventional farm, not an organic farm. Although we do our best to use organic-based sprays, we will use pesticides and fungicides when we deem absolutely necessary. We do carry produce from farms that are either certified organic or spray-free on occasion. Anything that we grow we wouldn't think twice about feeding to our own children. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to send us an email! The same with our vendors. All product descriptions are thorough.

Why does your fruit/veg not look like grocery store fruit?

Fruit/Veg you find in the grocery store has most likely been sprayed with unnatural chemicals to preserve its shelf life or colour, which can also negatively affect the taste. As we do not spray for this, our fruit can have bumps and bruises that come from shipping, handling, and touching other fruit. Just because a peach looks imperfect, doesn't mean it is not delicious and nutritious. That being said, if you receive fruit that is damaged, moldy, or doesn't taste right, don't hesitate to let us know (we have a 100% guarantee on all of our products).

Is your fruit GMO?

No, we do not have GMO fruit, nor will ever carry it. That includes the GMO non-browning apple.

Do you purchase from wholesalers?

We do not purchase from wholesalers, even if we are short on supply of a product. If we do not have a quality source from a local farmer that has a surplus, we put a close to the season of that particular food.

Does your mom actually pack fruit/veg?

You heard it right! Our lovely mother Helena actually picks and packs fruit/veg that we offer for 12 hours each day during the summer season on our family-owned farm in Oliver, BC. For your delivery needs we have a team here in Spruce Grove organizing all your needs.

How do you have such great staff?

Most of our employees have been with us for 8-10 years and love working for us. Once a year we have a rockin' staff party (we love our employees). See our team HERE

Where can I find you throughout the week?

We attend markets Tuesday through Sunday! Along with many of the vendors on this site. Check their personal websites for their locations. For a full comprehensive schedule of our markets, see HERE

When will a certain product be available?

For a general list of when products will be available and what is in season is HERE.

We start with our produce at markets first and then add them online the week after.

How does pickup work?

After choosing your desired size, you will choose from a drop down menu for your weekly pickup location. This will stay the same throughout the season.

We will offer pick up locations throughout Edmonton on Fridays 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Please look at locations here.

We are not liable for any stolen goods, or anything damaged from sitting out.

What if you are out of town or can't pick up?

We are not able to pause weeks, or refund if you are out of town/unable to pickup.  After speaking to other farmers who have long standing CSA's this is standard practice.

If you do find that you will be out of town, or unable to pick up, please gift or share with a neighbour or friend, and they can pick up with your name and email receipt.

We are not liable for any stolen goods, or anything damaged from sitting out, and you will not be able to organize pickups outside of Fridays 1:00pm - 5:00pm
